LOL – BTW, these are all in chronological order except the ending.
From my mom’s daily Oswald Chambers Email list…..
He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he
shall be My son. Revelation 21:7 …and Ozzie says, “God does not give us
overcoming life; He gives us life as we overcome.”I just got a call moments ago from a dear friend (C) from Paradise.
Half that community has been evacuated due to a fire that flashed up from
Chico and as she has been evacuating many animals (she alone has 3 horses,
dogs, cats and a goat) she has seen devastation like you might see in the
end times. At this moment she and limited others are being escorted back
home by police to get needed medications, and she is seeing, on Skyway
between Chico and Paradise, what was once lush green is charred and still
aflame. Please pray for these people to overcome as many have lost their
homes already and the fire is only 10% contained. C worked all night
to get others animals out as this is an area that has many little horse
ranches. (Also), Our friend M has lots of family in Paradise ~ please
pray for L and A plus kids, grandkids and greatgrandkids. I will be
meeting C (a single mom with a little boy with respiratory problems) in
the next few hours to get her son M out of the smoke ~ she is already
speaking of miracles the Lord has performed just throughout the night.
Lord, have mercy on this little community and our friends, and give up
opportunity to show mercy ourselves as the needs arise. oxMerrily
We have been preapproved to buy a home. Great news – if we lived somewhere in the middle of the country we’d be able to find a great starter home. Out here…not so great. It’s ok – I choose to live here. I want to live here. I don’t want to leave….thus the home buying.
But it’s so depressing to look at these homes. They need so much work….have such small spaces….small yards…meh neighborhoods. It’s hard to see the potential. It’s hard to imagine how we can clean it up and make it nice. I know we can….we’ve lived in some scary places before. But that was before kids….when we were younger and had more energy.
Ok…no more whining….who’s got time anyway! LOLÂ Just PLEASE pray for us….this is a huge decision and we are frankly scared witless!
J2 struggles with reading. He struggles with language. He struggles with writing…being understood…and understanding.
But he can see things we never can. I was sent this puzzle in a homeschool group I belong too – I couldn’t figure it out. Couldn’t even google the answer!
“OH J2…can you help me???”
Yep! He did it!
Go try and see if you can figure this puzzle out….if you can, let me know….you are in good company with J2. But if you are like me and need help, let me know and I’ll show you how J2 figured it out! Smart Kid!!
