J3 to JGirl – who is pounding him on head with her plastic block:
Not on my head, Sister. That’s where I think!
LOL
We left VERY early Friday morning – ok, well, tried. We had to turn around once for items left behind – thus losing a good 30 min. But thanks to Eric’s new GPS and wonderful traffic, we arrived with 10 min to spare! Yikes – a bit too close for my comfort!
We met up with Ben & Alese and their attendants at the park – BEAUTIFUL Japanese garden & rose garden. They ran through the ceremony with Eric and then we were off to find our hotel so we could change. Due to J1 being at camp, there were only 5 of us so we were able to use 1 hotel room! Nice! While we were getting ready, Eric’s brother Mike, his wife Sue and her daughter Karen met us there. (Sue is doing very well I guess – she had an MRI in June that showed only minimal scar tissue and no more tumor!! PTL – and she still has all her hair – sweet!!) Mike disappeared to take care of something and we had a nice visit with Sue and Karen:

While it was a very pleasant Bay Area day, the sun was still hot and I was worried about JGirl, so we moved away to be under a tree. Because I was holding her, I didn’t get any pictures of the ceremony but I did get to take quite a few afterwards:
