Last month I was interviewed by Wendy of the Foster Parenting Podcast.  Today it was released and you can listen to it via iTunes or their website: http://fosterpodcast.com/episode-70-interview-adoptive-parent-amy I hope it is a blessing to other families who consider adopting via the foster care system.

It’s a bit scary to put yourself out there in such a public way.  I am feeling pretty vulnerable, but I love educating others about infertility, adoption and foster care (or at least what I’ve learned about them).  If you listen, please let me know what you thought.

Does my voice really sound like that?? 😉

4 Thoughts on “Foster Podcast Interview

  1. Your voice doesn’t really sound like that. 🙂

    I thought you were great!!

  2. You were awesome! Your voice sounded great too. I think you brought up some good points, were open, and very approachable sounding. Good job!

  3. I thought you did a wonderful job sharing what you all have experienced. I had never heard someone talk about the details of their child’s birth (before adoption) as being “their” story. That totally gave me a new insight.

And I thought you sounded just like you sound on the phone. It was nice to *hear* you again!

  4. Amy, I am in awe of what you and what you’re doing. I was touched by your interview. Thank you for sharing your story so openly.
