{"id":1313,"date":"2008-08-14T08:55:17","date_gmt":"2008-08-14T15:55:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=1313"},"modified":"2008-08-14T11:08:32","modified_gmt":"2008-08-14T18:08:32","slug":"doggie-dilemma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=1313","title":{"rendered":"Doggie Dilemma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We own a house now.<\/p>\n<p>We have promised the boys that once we own a house we would get a dog.<\/p>\n<p>We own a house now.<\/p>\n<p>With a great back yard&#8230;.a great fence.<\/p>\n<p>And, we&#8217;ve had two offers just this week!<\/p>\n<p>One offer is a seven yr old Beagle.\u00c2\u00a0 The youth pastor and his wife breed Beagles and this is a momma they need to &#8216;retire&#8217;.\u00c2\u00a0 We are told she is a great dog.\u00c2\u00a0 They didn&#8217;t debark her but someone else did&#8230;we are told that can be a plus in Beagles.\u00c2\u00a0 But it is still sort of sad.\u00c2\u00a0 She isn&#8217;t housebroken so she&#8217;d be an outside dog &#8211; that is what she is used to and that is what Eric prefers.\u00c2\u00a0 Plus, if we should travel, the youth pastor&#8217;s wife said they would keep her for us while we are gone.\u00c2\u00a0 And, she is free!\u00c2\u00a0 But what if she is too old to transition well into a family?\u00c2\u00a0 What if she is miserable out back and the boys don&#8217;t play with her like she needs?<\/p>\n<p>The other &#8216;offer&#8217; is not quite an offer but it is&#8230;confusing, I know.\u00c2\u00a0 A family friend&#8217;s Australian Shepherd had puppies with unknown poppa and they have 10 puppies that need homes.\u00c2\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/scrabblequeen.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ruth <\/a>visited this week and picked one out for us.
