{"id":140,"date":"2005-01-04T19:07:41","date_gmt":"2005-01-05T02:07:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=140"},"modified":"2005-01-04T19:07:41","modified_gmt":"2005-01-05T02:07:41","slug":"where-ive-been","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=140","title":{"rendered":"Where I&#8217;ve been&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry I haven&#8217;t written in awhile &#8211; what a time I&#8217;ve been having! #1 son turned 10 this weekend (sob, double digits!!) and had a friend sleep over and a small family party. Well, now that we actually live around family again that is still 16 people! It might be cheaper to have a friends party!! I spent 75% of the weekend in bed&#8230;I even felt too icky to knit! I read or laid there and whined ;).  DH was a trooper though &#8211; he went grocery shopping (at three stores no less) and made dinner!  Sunday I got out of bed and did laundry and baked a birthday cake and cupcakes.  Then after the party &#8211; but while family was still visiting &#8211; I put my feet up in my recliner and knit on my socks.  I have&#8217;t had a chance to work on them and I&#8217;m starting to think I&#8217;ll never finish!<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday it was back to a regular school schedule and I was able to knit for one uninterrupted hour while #2 son did his gymastics.  But today&#8230;today has been anything but normal.  #1 son stayed hom from school (he attends the school where DH teaches) complaining of a stomache again.  We are about at whit&#8217;s end trying to figure out what is causing these stomach aches.  Fortunately, his doctor called to schedule some labwork for the referral to a specialist (they suspect Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and since J1 was home ill, they were glad to have him come in.  Long story short (is it possible? \ud83d\ude09 we lived through the experience but I find myself emotionally drained.  <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;d be looking forward to an evening of therapy knitting, but tonight is one of three quilting classes with my friend <a href=\"http:\/\/fmnquilts.blogspot.com\">Theresa<\/a>.  I know it will be fun, but it&#8217;s not relaxing like curling up under my blankey with my knitting needles.
