{"id":1478,"date":"2007-07-08T10:19:57","date_gmt":"2007-07-08T18:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/knitnmom.wordpress.com\/2007\/07\/08\/works-in-progress-update\/"},"modified":"2007-07-08T10:19:57","modified_gmt":"2007-07-08T18:19:57","slug":"works-in-progress-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=1478","title":{"rendered":"Works-in-Progress Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since I&#8217;ve joined <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\" target=\"_blank\">Ravelry<\/a> &#8211; I&#8217;ve found some new projects (<em>you can search a database and add projects to your queque! very cool<\/em>)\u00c2\u00a0 Here are a few I&#8217;ve got on my needles right now&#8230;.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/criminyjickets.blogspot.com\/2006\/07\/garterlac-dishcloth.html\" target=\"_blank\">Garterlac Dishcloth<\/a> &#8211; not a mindless dishcloth &#8211; but I&#8217;m only one row into it and I&#8217;m loving it!\u00c2\u00a0 I think you might end up seeing lots of these from me in the future!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/mysterystole3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mystery Stole #3<\/a> &#8211; yes, I&#8217;m a lemming!\u00c2\u00a0 My friend <a href=\"http:\/\/tjknits.blogspot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Theresa<\/a> was the first person to talk about it &#8211; and her work is gorgeous.\u00c2\u00a0 But she is my knitting guru and I never thought I could do it.\u00c2\u00a0 Then <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yarnharlot.ca\" target=\"_blank\">Yarn Harlot<\/a> mentioned it &#8211; and again, I didn&#8217;t think I could do it.\u00c2\u00a0 But then I realized I was up for a new challenge &#8211; so I&#8217;m awaiting the yarn and will get started as soon as I can.\u00c2\u00a0 If I can meet this challenge &#8211; you&#8217;ll see photos in a couple of weeks. If it bests me &#8211; we&#8217;ll never speak of this again!\u00c2\u00a0 <em>Sorry &#8211; membership is closed &#8211; but I believe the pattern will be on sale sometime next Fall.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Boxer Shorts &#8211; my local knitting group is doing the Boxer Shorts from the book &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Greetings-Knit-Caf%C3%A9-Suzan-Mischer\/dp\/1584794836\/ref=sr_1_1\/102-6984818-8969749?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1183918501&amp;sr=1-1\" target=\"_blank\">Greetings from the Knit Cafe<\/a>&#8220;\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m using Knit Picks&#8217; Shine Sport in Cherry and Cloud (red and gray).\u00c2\u00a0 Can&#8217;t wait to get started!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Hibernating<\/strong> are:\u00c2\u00a0 The Big Shrug, the lace scarf and a mesh shopping bag I messed up horribly! Ugh<\/p>\n<p><strong>Queued<\/strong> (I want to knit someday) are: Trekkie Washcloth, a couple of baby cardigans, Hairband out of Cascade Fixation, and a diagonal lace scarf.\u00c2\u00a0 OH! And, socks for my sister!!
