{"id":1506,"date":"2007-09-09T07:41:23","date_gmt":"2007-09-09T15:41:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/knitnmom.wordpress.com\/2007\/09\/09\/mindless-knitting-only-please\/"},"modified":"2007-09-09T07:41:23","modified_gmt":"2007-09-09T15:41:23","slug":"mindless-knitting-only-please","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=1506","title":{"rendered":"Mindless knitting only, please!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, there have been <a href=\"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=717\" target=\"_blank\">craziness going on in our life <\/a>and it&#8217;s affecting my knitting!<\/p>\n<p>On one hand &#8211; the Baby Cable Rib socks for J2 are almost done because it&#8217;s wonderfully mindless knitting.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand &#8211; I&#8217;ve attempted and frogged a baby dress for Baby Susanna (due 12\/15\/07 to my boss and her hubby) 3 or 4 times.<\/p>\n<p>Seems I can finish things or do mindless knitting but starting something new is just not working out.\u00c2\u00a0 Weird what stress does to you!\u00c2\u00a0 So, I&#8217;m going to use this new power for good! (lol)\u00c2\u00a0 I will finish J2&#8217;s socks for the September&#8217;s &#8220;Sock A Month&#8221; KAL.\u00c2\u00a0 Then I&#8217;ll finish my Big Shrug!\u00c2\u00a0 At the speed I&#8217;m able to do mindless knitting &#8211; I&#8217;m thinking I could be done in a week or so.<\/p>\n<p>Then I can either try Baby Susanna&#8217;s dress again &#8211; or finish the boxers.\u00c2\u00a0 If I have to &#8211; Baby Susanna&#8217;s dress will be modified to a cute hat and booties &#8211; but darn I love this dress!!\u00c2\u00a0 And, this squishy pink yarn&#8230;yum!<\/p>\n<p>The one casualty from this potential change to our life?\u00c2\u00a0 I have NO intention of knitting 20 miniture Christmas stockings for Dh&#8217;s coworkers anymore.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe next year.\u00c2\u00a0 However, by next year I could be dealing with a walker &#8211; so maybe the year after that!
