{"id":1534,"date":"2008-01-07T13:56:22","date_gmt":"2008-01-07T21:56:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/knitnmom.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/07\/knitting-in-the-new-year\/"},"modified":"2008-01-07T13:56:22","modified_gmt":"2008-01-07T21:56:22","slug":"knitting-in-the-new-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=1534","title":{"rendered":"Knitting in the new year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After Christmas I had an urge to finish things.\u00c2\u00a0 So far all I have left is to block Baby Susannah&#8217;s dress (well, and mail it out) and my boxers.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m making good progress on my boxers&#8230;and it feels good to be making progress.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not so in love with the &#8216;pretty in pink&#8217; scarf I&#8217;ve been working on.\u00c2\u00a0 Maybe it&#8217;s that I&#8217;m anxious to make some socks.\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m really excited about the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ravelry.com\/patterns\/library\/the-firestarter\" target=\"_blank\">Firestarter <\/a>Socks &#8211; have you seen them?\u00c2\u00a0 Oh my &#8211; they are so cool!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got yarn to make some socks for my Dad and stepmom.\u00c2\u00a0  And, I want to make my brother a hat &#8211; but I want to make a certain one and I don&#8217;t have the yarn.\u00c2\u00a0 So, I&#8217;m trying to decide if I want to just knit him anything &#8230; nah, I won&#8217;t be happy with it.\u00c2\u00a0 I need to wait until I can get the yarn.\u00c2\u00a0 Not sure that he reads this &#8211; but on the off chance that he does&#8230;no more talk about that.<\/p>\n<p>My mom&#8217;s birthday is coming too &#8211; I&#8217;d like to make her something.<\/p>\n<p>I just realized this really a post about nothing!
