{"id":2141,"date":"2009-04-16T08:17:43","date_gmt":"2009-04-16T15:17:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2141"},"modified":"2009-04-16T08:17:43","modified_gmt":"2009-04-16T15:17:43","slug":"random-thoughts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2141","title":{"rendered":"Random Thoughts"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Hubs was home sick for 4 days.\u00c2\u00a0 That translates into: 4 days of distraction.\u00c2\u00a0 4 days of worrying about his asthma.\u00c2\u00a0 2 days of saying <em>&#8220;yes, you still have to do school if dad is home&#8221;<\/em> &#8230; 2 days of just giving up.\u00c2\u00a0 4 days of asking Hubs NOT to watch television in the morning.<\/li>\n<li>He&#8217;s back to school today and now I&#8217;m worrying about his asthma at school!\u00c2\u00a0 I plan to call him periodically to say<em> &#8216;sit down for awhile&#8230;.don&#8217;t do too much&#8230;.are you drinking water?&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Sissy has an ear infection.\u00c2\u00a0 ugh.\u00c2\u00a0 At least she is on antibiotics now and she&#8217;s return to happy child.<\/li>\n<li>I frogged and restarted the baby blanket for Brett &amp; Christy&#8217;s baby that&#8217;s due in less than a month.\u00c2\u00a0 Thank goodness we&#8217;ll be on vacation for a week soon so I can knit.<\/li>\n<li>We are planning a vacation to Lake Tahoe area in late April.\u00c2\u00a0 We planned it thinking there would be no snow and lots of opportunity to check out historical stuff.\u00c2\u00a0 Now I hope there will be no snow!<\/li>\n<li>Why is it Moms never really get vacations?\u00c2\u00a0 I&#8217;m still going to be cooking, cleaning and doing laundry.\u00c2\u00a0 Though I certainly plan to sit on my butt and knit as much as possible.\u00c2\u00a0 The Family will just have to deal with it!\u00c2\u00a0 They know how to cook some things!<\/li>\n<li>As my dad and stepmom are in town, we went bowling yesterday and then came home and took a walk to find a couple of geocaches.\u00c2\u00a0 Our first!\u00c2\u00a0 J3 found the first one &#8211; I was ready to give up!\u00c2\u00a0 Both caches we found we only a 1 or 1.5 in difficulty (out of 5) and it was hard!\u00c2\u00a0 Came home and told Eric about how fun it was and he ordered me a GPS (some kind of etrex) that will arrive before our vacation! So I know we&#8217;ll be doing some geocaching on vacation!<\/li>\n<li>Today we are taking Grandma &amp; Grandpa to the zoo!\u00c2\u00a0 And, it is supposed to be in the mid 70s.\u00c2\u00a0 I really should go make the sandwiches for our picnic!<\/li>\n<li>I need to get our puppies groomed.\u00c2\u00a0 I need to call Ruth again to find out who she uses.<\/li>\n<li>Today I take Sissy to the orthopedist (is that right) to have her legs\/hips checked.\u00c2\u00a0 Hoping it&#8217;s nothing.<\/li>\n<li>We&#8217;ve been going around and around with our caseworker in Oregon.\u00c2\u00a0 We were supposed to finalize in March.\u00c2\u00a0 But there have been delays and a real lack of communication.\u00c2\u00a0 We just found out that she is leaving the position and we&#8217;ll have a new caseworker.\u00c2\u00a0 I have no idea how this will delay the adoption.\u00c2\u00a0 I have been calm about it but now I&#8217;m starting to fret!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;ve put off starting my day as long as possible.
