{"id":2152,"date":"2009-04-20T12:02:09","date_gmt":"2009-04-20T19:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2152"},"modified":"2009-04-20T12:02:09","modified_gmt":"2009-04-20T19:02:09","slug":"meeting-j2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2152","title":{"rendered":"Meeting J2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Many years ago we &#8211; ok, 12.5 years ago &#8211; we went to the Portland area to meet our 2nd son.\u00c2\u00a0 He was living with a wonderful family who were a blessing and neat example of a Christian, loving family.\u00c2\u00a0 When son #3 was born, Laurie came to meet and cuddle him too.<\/p>\n<p>When we learned about Sissy, I wondered how Laurie and her family were doing.\u00c2\u00a0 I googled her a few times with no luck.\u00c2\u00a0 A few days ago I tried again on Facebook.\u00c2\u00a0 No luck, but there was a young lady with the same last name in Portland.\u00c2\u00a0 I decided, nothing ventured, nothing gained.\u00c2\u00a0 And, at first it looked like there was no connection.\u00c2\u00a0 On a whim, I looked in our photo album and realized I had messed up her first name!\u00c2\u00a0 I emailed the young lady again &#8211; thinking, if I&#8217;m still wrong, I&#8217;ll never bug her again!\u00c2\u00a0 And, I&#8217;m so glad I persevered &#8211; as Laurie is her mom!<\/p>\n<p>Here are some pictures of our first meeting with J2 &#8211; in Laurie&#8217;s home &#8211; and a couple of her cutie daughters!
