{"id":2531,"date":"2009-07-28T11:37:10","date_gmt":"2009-07-28T18:37:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2531"},"modified":"2009-07-28T11:37:10","modified_gmt":"2009-07-28T18:37:10","slug":"stuff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=2531","title":{"rendered":"Stuff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m feeling a bit down.\u00c2\u00a0 My birthday can do that to me.\u00c2\u00a0 I always struggle with dates that put me in the center of attention.\u00c2\u00a0 On one hand, I want the recognition, the love and validation.\u00c2\u00a0 But on the other hand I struggle with believing that I am worthy of it or that anyone will want to celebrate with me.\u00c2\u00a0 So then I try to act like I don&#8217;t really want to do anything special.\u00c2\u00a0 But then I get my feelings hurt when nothing happens. lol\u00c2\u00a0 Yeah, I&#8217;m a mess!\u00c2\u00a0 Poor Hubs!<\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m also weary which always contributes to my low moods.\u00c2\u00a0 Sissy has been waking up 15 min after we go to bed.\u00c2\u00a0 We&#8217;ve comforted her, tended to her and then hoped she&#8217;d go back to sleep.\u00c2\u00a0 No luck!\u00c2\u00a0 So, she&#8217;s spent the last 3 nights in our bed.\u00c2\u00a0 And, she&#8217;s a bed hog and a kicker.<\/p>\n<p>Also, I talked to the assistant to our adoption lawyer today &#8211; and she said it will take 6-10 weeks just to <strong>get <\/strong>our paperwork!!!\u00c2\u00a0 The case she&#8217;s working on right now took 3 mos.\u00c2\u00a0 Please understand, this is not to finalize the adoption, it is to just get their hands on our paperwork to start the process.\u00c2\u00a0 Then it will be a few weeks of sending documents back and forth for signatures and then it will get filed in the court system.\u00c2\u00a0 That will be another waiting time.\u00c2\u00a0 And, then &#8211; hopefully sometime this fall &#8211; we&#8217;ll get a letter saying it&#8217;s done!<\/p>\n<p>Just typing this out makes me want to cry.
