…you are blessed to celebrate birthdays<\/strong> as opposed to just one day! :)\u00c2\u00a0 At least that’s what I have my family trained to believe! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

So, even though I don’t get older until tomorrow, last night there was a card and package at my desk. My Hubs got me some dark chocolate, a new 4 gb mp3 player and a nice card.<\/p>\n

This morning I left bright and early to pick up Ashley <\/a>& Trina <\/a>to head out for our First Saturday in Winters, CA.\u00c2\u00a0 We had coffee and breakfast at our favorite coffee shop – Ashley bought me breakfast!\u00c2\u00a0 And, Trina gave me a handmade quilter’s pocketbook.\u00c2\u00a0 It is purple and green and holds a small cutting mat.\u00c2\u00a0 There are slots for scissors and other tools.\u00c2\u00a0 I love it!!<\/p>\n

After our quilting time at Cloth Carousel, we realized that Trina didn’t have to work as early as I had thought (seems I might be the only morning person in our trio!) so we headed to a thrift store in Davis.\u00c2\u00a0 I love thrift stores, but this one wasn’t as thrifty as I’d like.\u00c2\u00a0 However, that didn’t keep me from making a purchase – or three!\u00c2\u00a0 I found a GREAT BIG black bag and 2 CDs.\u00c2\u00a0 Ashley found a beautiful shirt for work and Trina found some components for a family wedding in September.<\/p>\n

When I arrived back home, the kids and Daddy had done their chores and decorated the house!\u00c2\u00a0 Nice!\u00c2\u00a0 Tomorrow I think we are going to have a quiet day at home (aka chance for Mommy to rest up and knit a bit!) and I’ve requested burritos from our local Tacqueria and a cheesecake from the local bakery! Yummy!<\/p>\n

But that is tomorrow!\u00c2\u00a0 Today the kids are going to go shopping with Daddy – bless him – and I’m hoping to get a nap!<\/p>\n

Thank you all for your encouragement earlier this week.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m so relieved that it’s not just me feeling like this.\u00c2\u00a0 I also took your advice and figured out what I want (cheesecake!) and will make it happen one way or another!\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
