Yesterday I went out and got him new pants and new shirts.  Well, he doesn&#8217;t like them and is CONSTANTLY complaining about every little thing about them.  Oh, yes &#8211; he is wearing them.  And, I&#8217;m seriously considering making him wear them everyday for the next week or maybe longer!<\/p>\n<p>But I&#8217;m not sure if I&#8217;m angry or just hurt?  Was I this ungrateful as a kid?  I sure don&#8217;t remember being like this &#8211; but I&#8217;ve yet to meet a kid yet who is truly unselfish!  <\/p>\n<p>I think this child needs to get a dose of how good he&#8217;s got it&#8230;not sure how to accomplish that at his age.  And, it doesn&#8217;t help that Christmas is right around the corner and all he can think about is what he&#8217;s getting.  Sort of takes the fun out of getting him anything when he&#8217;s like this!  Of course, I got him something that I think he will be thrilled with &#8211; but it&#8217;s not a big deal and it&#8217;t not one of the 100s of things he said he wanted &#8211; so I doubt he&#8217;ll appreciate it.<\/p>\n<p>Well, thanks for letting me vent a bit!  I&#8217;d better go check on him &#8211; part of his punishment is that he has to clean his room all by himself.
