Thought it was time to share a bit about my knitting.\u00c2\u00a0 I like to have several projects going at once in case I get bored or frustrated! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

1)\u00c2\u00a0 Here is my progress on my never ending sweater!<\/p>\n

The back is done and one side is about 2\/3 done.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve unknit quite a bit lately so this is now at the bottom of my knitting bad!\u00c2\u00a0 Bad Yarn!! :-)\u00c2\u00a0 I’m starting to worry that it might be too small!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m doing my best to ignore that little fear though.<\/p>\n

A couple of things I’m learning from this experience – stockinette sweaters are BORING.\u00c2\u00a0 Just because the pattern says to knit one thing and then the next…there is no reason I can’t knit them both at the same time!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m seriously considering the sleeves in magic loop – maybe even two at a time – to speed this up!\u00c2\u00a0 I want this done before Christmas!<\/p>\n

2)\u00c2\u00a0 Here is a cable scarf I found here – the Irish Hiking Scarf<\/a> – I’m doing it in Black Lion Brand Microspun.\u00c2\u00a0 Very Soft!\u00c2\u00a0 I’m just knitting in a rib pattern around the neck area so it will hang better.\u00c2\u00a0 Wish you could see the detail!<\/p>\n

3)\u00c2\u00a0 The 2nd baby kimono (from Mason Dixon Knitting book) – this one is in stockinette.\u00c2\u00a0 Since I worked on it yesterday when I was coming down with this cold\/flu\/ickiness I now have to frog about 3 rows…sigh…<\/p>\n

4)\u00c2\u00a0 I pulled this one out of the drawer – the Lost Points Shawl – I looooove these colors:<\/p>\n

5) Finally, even though I am sick today – my friend Ruth asked to use my washing machine to felt her bag.\u00c2\u00a0 I decided the worse thing to happen wasn’t going to be as bad as never felting the two I had done<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 So here is our results –<\/p>\n

Mine are the two in back – the purple one turned out so nice that I think I’m going to give it to my niece – I hope she likes it because I really want to keep it!<\/p>\n
