{"id":445,"date":"2006-11-15T10:06:13","date_gmt":"2006-11-15T17:06:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=445"},"modified":"2006-11-15T10:06:13","modified_gmt":"2006-11-15T17:06:13","slug":"uh-oh-this-could-be-addicting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=445","title":{"rendered":"Uh, oh &#8211; this could be addicting!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to my Dad&#8217;s calming presence &#8211; <em>I am NOT going to turn into a screaming crazy-woman in front of him!!<\/em> &#8211; and a few phone calls to my <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.threemilesin.com\/blog\/\">techno-savvy\/beer-making brother<\/a> I can actually use this d%&#038;^ MP3 player now!! And, man&#8230;.it&#8217;s fun!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I did make a choice at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.Audible.com\">Audible.com<\/a> &#8211; the Bible!\u00c2\u00a0 Duh!\u00c2\u00a0 It&#8217;s the perfect classic!\u00c2\u00a0 I was planning to keep my membership longer than the free month but then I discovered the world of Podcasts!!<\/p>\n<p>This addiction to podcasts really can all be blamed on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/hookmeup.mycrochetblog.com\/\">Roe<\/a> &#8211; who discovered them about 6 mos or more ago and causally mentioned them one night at our <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/wakcs\/\">knitting group <\/a>(She knits &#8211; she crochets &#8211; she&#8217;s awesome!\u00c2\u00a0 Sadly she got a newish job and we rarely see her anymore :-().\u00c2\u00a0 I\u00c2\u00a0 logged the podcast information away for &#8220;someday-when-I-have-time&#8221; and instantly forgot about it!<br \/>\nThen, a few weeks ago when <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.osbornz.net\">my site<\/a> went down I found time!\u00c2\u00a0 I found two podcasts on <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.abc.com\/lost\">Lost<\/a> (love that show) and enjoyed them online.\u00c2\u00a0 But then yesterday my brother explained to me how I could download them into my player and listen at my convenience!!\u00c2\u00a0 Woohoo!<\/p>\n<p>And, I found oodles of goodies for knitters!\u00c2\u00a0 Check these out:<\/p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cast-on.com\/\">http:\/\/www.cast-on.com\/<\/a> &#8211; my favorite!
