1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?<\/strong> Hot chocolate… I’m afraid of Egg Nog lol <\/font><\/p>\n

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? <\/strong>Wraps them… but we don’t really do Santa… they are just special surprises. \ud83d\ude42<\/font><\/p>\n

3. Colored lights on tree\/house or white?<\/strong> Colored – we tried white to symbolize the star – but it just didn’t feel right to us. We are back to the lights of our childhood!<\/font><\/p>\n

4. Do you hang mistletoe?<\/strong> Yes, my boys live in fear of being caught under it<\/font><\/p>\n

5. When do you put your decorations up?<\/strong> Generally the Saturday after Thanksgiving<\/font>6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?<\/strong> darn! Because my absolute favorite is my mom’s Walnut Pie. Excluding dessert – then stuffing.

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child:<\/strong> One year we were visiting my G & G W. in Southern California. They went to elaborate measures to show that Santa had been in the house. He dropped his hat, ate our cookies, and left his footprint in the fireplace ashes. I was probably 4 or 5.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?<\/strong> Same Christmas. I found the boxes for our gifts “from Santa” and realized he would not bring the boxes. I tried not to let anyone know I knew though.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

9. Do you open gifts on Christmas Eve?<\/strong> We open one gift – usually a new set of PJs.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?<\/strong> Color lights, wooden garlands painted red and green, crystal garland to reflect the light. And, then all our ornaments are special ones – gifts from others – it’s getting a bit crowded now.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

11. Snow: Love it or Dread it? <\/strong> Love it!!! But only because (1) it does not snow here and (2) only if I can stay inside and be cozy!
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

12. Can you ice skate?<\/strong> Once – I’m not sure I have the ankles for it.
\n<\/font><\/p>\n

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?<\/strong> When my Grandma D was still alive she gave all the granddaughters tea cups every year. I’ve got quite a collection now!

14. What’s the most important thing about the Holidays for you?<\/strong> Being with my hubby and boys<\/font><\/p>\n

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?<\/strong> My Mom’s Walnut Pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?<\/strong> Doing the Advent ring for 4 Sundays before Christmas.
