{"id":499,"date":"2007-01-17T15:37:16","date_gmt":"2007-01-17T22:37:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=499"},"modified":"2007-01-17T15:37:16","modified_gmt":"2007-01-17T22:37:16","slug":"seaming-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/osbornz.net\/amy\/?p=499","title":{"rendered":"Seaming up!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night at our <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/WAKCs\/\">Knit Night<\/a> I admitted that the only thing keeping me from finishing my sweater was my lack of confidence in my sewing skills.\u00c2\u00a0 I was very frustrated because all the knitting books I had on hand said something on the lines of &#8220;&#8230;now you just seam it up and you&#8217;ve got a new sweater!&#8221; WHAT? Where are all the paragraphs explaining HOW you seam it up!?!?!<\/p>\n<p>Cindy explained to me how to proceed and Ashley went right home and found a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.knittinghelp.com\/knitting\/videos\/\/bas-tech-more\/mattress-stitch.mpg\">great video<\/a> at Knittinghelp.com (do you know about <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.knittinghelp.com\">Knittinghelp.com<\/a>?\u00c2\u00a0 If not, you are missing out a great tool!!)\u00c2\u00a0 I love my knit group!<\/p>\n<p>So &#8211; today &#8211; I&#8217;m am at the very least seaming up the sides and arms for my sweater.\u00c2\u00a0 Then I&#8217;ll pray and try to attach the arms&#8230;more lack of confidence on this one.\u00c2\u00a0 Baby Steps!\u00c2\u00a0 But at least I&#8217;ve got a support group to help me!\u00c2\u00a0 Where would I be without you all!! Thank you! Thank you!
