So quiet I can hear the water sprinkler outside.  In a house with three boys it NEVER gets this quiet!<\/p>\n<p>So, how does a mom get to enjoy quiet like this?<\/p>\n<p>Well, she <strong>totally<\/strong> and <strong>completely flakes<\/strong>!  She tells her husband she refuses to go one more night to Cub Scout Camp and do &#8220;buddy-checks&#8221; while swatting at mosquitos &#8211; it is HIS TURN!<\/p>\n<p>She tells her <a href=\"http:\/\/scrabblequeen.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">friend<\/a> that she can&#8217;t come watch the fabulous movie and knit (even THOUGH it has been almost a week since she got to indulge in her favorite pasttime).<\/p>\n<p>She makes her family wimpy sandwiches (<em>YES! This IS your dinner! Eat it!<\/em>) &#8211; throws them out the door &#8211; falls on to her bed and sleeps for 45 <strong><em>blissful<\/em><\/strong> minutes!<\/p>\n<p>She awakens refreshed.  She wanders around the house wondering what to do with herself.  Finally, she finds an ok movie and knits.
