Well, I doubt it&#8217;s true! I love living here &#8211; but when I leave town on I5, well, it&#8217;s stinks!  And, others are noticing too!<\/p>\n<p>Check out what the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/local\/la-me-odor8oct08,1,294275.story?page=1&amp;coll=la-headlines-california&amp;ctrack=1&amp;cset=true\" target=\"_blank\">LA Times had to say<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>When I was a kid &#8211; it was the Sugar Refinery, but that&#8217;s been closed for awhile.  I don&#8217;t recall this smell last year.  I think the smell is primarily around the causeway.
