(I think I’ve taken this quiz before…but I think I got a different answer)

What Kind of Knitter Are You?

You appear to be a Knitting Goddess. You are constantly giving and are unconcerned with reward, you simply want others to love knitting as much as you do. If someone wants to knit miles of novelty yarns, you are there for them. If someone wants to learn short row shaping, you can help. There are no taboos in knitting, only opportunities to grow. Everyone should have friend like you around if they want to learn to knit, and there’s a good chance that your passion has rubbed off on a few others.http://marniemaclean.com

I received the following questions in my comment section…please see answers below.

silver maple leaf Says:
hmmm, do you know of any podcasts that teach any other languages. my son really wants to learn the languages some of his online friends peak, like Japanese, Norwegian, and German.

No, sorry I don’t know. But a quick google search will, I am confident, find what you want for your son. Also check out Rosetta Stone – in the homeschool community people RAVE about it!

Lynn Says:
Where are you getting all the podcasts from? Do they cost money? I got an MP3 player for Christmas but haven’t even figured out how to use it yet.

Thanks to my brother – he educated me on the way of the mp3 player! 🙂 I downloaded iTunes which I use to subscribe and download free podcasts. Then I copy them to my mp3 player and enjoy! What type of mp3 player did you get, Lynn?

Well, I’m still love, love, loving my MP3 player! I love that I can knit to good books or podcasts or the radio or my favorite music. And, even work is more enjoyable with my MP3 player! Don’t get me wrong I still TOTALLY I love my job but sometimes it goes better with a little music in the background.

So, of course, my favorites podcasts are still knitting related…but I found a new podcast in January that I’m really enjoying. Check out Coffee Break Spanish. I’m not quite sure why I was even given the option to learn a language beyond Spanish since I grew up in California – but I was and I chose wrong. 🙂 Just kidding – I love knowing some French and would like to know more. But I hate that I live in a culture where so many speak a language that I can’t even introduce myself in! But now I can!! And, I’m amazed how much I already know just because I live here and hear so much of it!

Enjoy!

Monday, Monday, can’t trust that day
Monday, Monday, it just turns out that way
Oh Monday, Monday, won’t go away
Monday, Monday, it’s here to stay
Oh Monday, Monday
Oh Monday, Monday

I had wanted to write and tell you all that I’m good. But I’m not. I’m persevering though so that’s something, right?

Thank you all for your prayers and words of encouragement. They mean so much to me. I love that even on my worst days there are people within reach. You listen to my whining and hear my heart

On my needles…well, I’m knitting some gifts so I can’t say too much. Photos after gifts are given. Right now on my needles – I’m knitting toe-up socks for my niece in Knit Picks Parade. And, I’ve played around with the first swatch of the Master Knitting Program – level one.

OK – that’s it for me. I’m alive. I’m here. I’m just quiet.
