Fridays

Fridays are great days! We usually save JGirl’s therapies for Fridays and we have a light school day.  Today we have OT in the morning and then a trip to the zoo.  Grammy is giving us a family pass for one year!  I’m very excited and charging up my camera battery as soon as I’m done typing this!

Just in case our Friday is TOO much fun, I’m posting this now and I’ll post pictures tomorrow.  But if I can find the time and energy then I’ll post them tonight!

Oh! And Saturday!!! I can’t wait!  I’m meeting Kevin & Beth at a nursery up by their place to buy trees! I want a couple of fruit trees and Hubs wants a shade tree for our back yard!  Afterwards we’ll all come here to have dinner.

I’m leaning towards an orange and a lemon tree….but I’m really open to any type of fruit tree.  Maybe a lime?  a Kumquat?  A pear?  An apple?   Anyone have a good suggestion for me to consider?

Hi, I’m Knitnmom…

….but I’m not who you think I am.

For the past year or more, I think there is another Knitnmom out there…and she’s a knitwear designer. I have people friend me on Ravelry whom I’ve never met and we aren’t in any common groups….I have people follow me on Twitter and I don’t have a clue who they are. I get messages on Skype and Twitter that are obviously intended for another person. But when I tell them I’m not who they think I am…nothing. Wouldn’t a ‘sorry’ be a polite reply? In fact last week someone wished me happy birthday….they are either 8 mos early or 4 mos late or there is another Knitnmom.

I’m VERY curious to know who she is! At least if I met her I could forward all her notes to her! 😉

I did it! I did it!

First, Thanks TooManyHats for catching my date mistake in the last post!  I guess I was stuck in a timewarp….again! 😉

Second, I’m so jazzed!!  I’ve been wanting to get a workout membership at Workout Express ever since Eric joined last year, but due to JGirl’s arrival I had to put it off.  Today I got my membership and did the circuits!  It was SO fun.  It was quick-paced so even the horrible machines were doable.  And, just about the time I thought I couldn’t do another second on a machine – the ‘voice’ told me it was time to change machines – Hurray!!

And, another fun thing…I was able to meet the Hubs there and follow him around the circuit!  We hope to meet up there 3 times a week – and I hope to go one additional day.  Here’s to hoping we can keep it up!
