1. Do you like to shop? Why or why not?
No. Never enough money 🙁 I prefer to make gifts if possible and appreciated. I never make anything for those who don’t appreciate the work and love put into these type of gifts.

2. What was the last thing you purchased?
Outdoor boots for the boys to muck about in at Uncle Brett & Aunt Christy’s ranchette. SOOOO much poop! LOL

3. Do you prefer shopping online or at an actual store? Why?
Online for everything except clothes/shoes which really should be tried on before purchasing.

4. Did you get an allowance as a child? How much was it?
Yes. Dependent upon age and chores.

5. What was the last thing you regret purchasing?
A Pen Pallette – I never draw graphics anymore now.

First, reality stuff! LOL Heading up to my Brother and SILs house in the Redding area for the weekend. I won’t have computer access which should be refreshing! I’ll try to remember all the cute things the kids do so I have something to share when I get home.

For those of you who pray…please remember our family. Holidays are so hard since losing Joshie and Thanksgiving is even harder. Last year my BIL had just gotten a new camera and was playing with it quite a bit…and took many pics of Joshie. Those are some of the last pics we have of him – and that’s how I see him in my mind. Gosh, life can be so hard! 🙁

Ok…back to fantasy! 🙂

If we were Hobbits – we would be the Hamwich Family of Buckleberry Fern. My DH would be Fredegar, and I’d be Azaelia. And then there were our children – Fosco, Pimpernel, Olo and Polo! LOL

I was just starting to take dinner out of the crockpot and make the side dishes when my FIL called. It seemed that my sil and bil were going to bring dinner (he’s a chef) and there was enough for our family too – could they all come over here? Even though we are in an apt we have lots of space and a decent sized kitchen. I ran around like a wild woman – vacuuming and stashing! LOL By the time they got here I was WIPED out! LOL

There was lamb, zucchini and garbanzo beans and this wonderful sauce served over cous-cous (sp?) – iranian bread with different dips (for lack of a better term). The dips were made out of eggplant, hummus, roasted red peppers and black eye peas. And then we topped ourselves off with bakalava (sp?) and mint tea.

All that good food combined with the loooong day and the hasty clean up equaled one tired Momma! LOL I practically feel asleep in my chair several times!! I hope they weren’t offended! :-/

Overall it was a nice evening – I didn’t even have to do the dishes!!
