Things are so crazy – what December isn’t?!  But this year I feel the the added responsibility of  making sure my youngest understands the TRUE story of Christmas.  Then I look at my todo list and ARGH!!  Time is rushing by and there is SO much todo just today.  But as I was perusing the December issue of The Old Schoolhouse  I saw this article –

I am definitely making time to read this one today!

What are you doing to keep Christ in Christmas this year?  How about teaching the young ones who are blasted with Santa via every media device out there!?!  Any traditions to share?!

I’m thankful I did this little exercise. It helped me look for the good instead of focusing on the negative things I can’t control.  And, it helped me appreciate the little things more in my hunt for thanksgiving!  I’m adding a note to next year’s calendar to do it again! You should too!

Another one a day late! My days are busy as we get closer to December!  But I can’t quit now!

Yesterday, I was very thankful that my children came home early! I miss them while they are at school and I’m VERY thankful for the help I’m getting there for them!  Praying it helps with their futures!
