It’s only 9:54am but I’m ready to give up and just wait for tomorrow to begin! Can I vent just a bit?

  • I get up at my normal time, but today I can’t wake up so everything takes me 2x longer, at least.
  • Ditto kiddos.  No one wants to get dressed, eat, etc.
  • Need to print grocery list as I need to get groceries between other stuff today.  It prints one part (menu) and then my computer can’t find my printer.
  • After 10 mins of trying to figure it out, I gave up and copied list from spreadsheet by hand.
  • Ran kiddos to school and to store where I couldn’t find most of the things I needed. No time to go to 2nd store until tonight. Ugh.
  • Back home, thinking I need to find CD for printer, tear my desk apart, I can’t find it.
  • Realized desk is very dusty and start to dust it.
  • Find that USB cord for printer had fallen out of back of printer.  Plug it back in and printer is functioning again.

However, now we are late to start homeschooling and I’ve done NO work today (I normally have 1.5 to 2 hours done by now).  I just want to cry. Thanks for listening to me.  Now I need to shake it off and GET BUSY!  Praying the rest of the day is uneventful!

Yesterday, Sissy had to have surgery. It wasn’t a life threatening situation but it did require anesthesia. Later in the day, she complained that she could taste monkey breath and she did NOT like it! I had NO idea what that was about so I decided to ignore it.

Then, this morning, the surgeon called to check up on her and I told him that she was great except she did not like the monkey breath. And I expected him to laugh with me. But instead, he says something like, yeah I could see that. :: awkward silence :: Then he explains that the anesthesiologist uses that phrase to explain the smell of the gas to his younger patients as they go to sleep. OH! Lol I felt pretty silly after that!
