This is the oldest digital photo on our computer. Â It’s dated July 4, 1997 – but as that would mean J2 would be almost 1 then, it’s actually older than that. Â I remember it was taken for newspaper in The Dalles….this was actually an outtake because J2 wasn’t adopted yet, so we could not show his face in the newspaper. Â I think this must have been January or February 1997. Â So J1 would have been 2 and J2 would be 4 or 5 mos old. Â I love this photo!

Yesterday, my friend, Ruth, came over with a box for Sissy. Â It was an early (about 3 mos!) birthday present! Â And, it is perfectly timed so that I don’t have to worry about finding her a new dress for Easter!
There were princess slippers (sadly, I didn’t get a picture of them), a dress with a matching dress for her dolly….
And, a green hat….
and a purple hat….
What a blessing!

It’s been awhile since I caught the pups on film. They are now 2.5 years old – if I’m doing my math right. Here is our boy, Tuvok, peeking out from the sick blanket on Thursday. He loves to burrow under a blanket and snuggle! 🙂
