This morning we visited J3’s preschool because Santa was coming to school!

After Santa arrived, J3 didn’t take his eyes off him for a minute! lol
Then it was his turn to visit Santa
And, he got a gift – which he quickly unwrapped
And even his brothers got into it – taking pics with Santa
Sunday was J3’s birthday. His Grandma & Grandpa O, Aunt Susan and 6 of his Cousins came to celebrate with us! We had pizza and then Jason opened his presents. He was thrilled with everything!

I have raised an ungrateful brat! Yesterday I went out and got him new pants and new shirts. Well, he doesn’t like them and is CONSTANTLY complaining about every little thing about them. Oh, yes – he is wearing them. And, I’m seriously considering making him wear them everyday for the next week or maybe longer!
But I’m not sure if I’m angry or just hurt? Was I this ungrateful as a kid? I sure don’t remember being like this – but I’ve yet to meet a kid yet who is truly unselfish!
I think this child needs to get a dose of how good he’s got it…not sure how to accomplish that at his age. And, it doesn’t help that Christmas is right around the corner and all he can think about is what he’s getting. Sort of takes the fun out of getting him anything when he’s like this! Of course, I got him something that I think he will be thrilled with – but it’s not a big deal and it’t not one of the 100s of things he said he wanted – so I doubt he’ll appreciate it.
Well, thanks for letting me vent a bit! I’d better go check on him – part of his punishment is that he has to clean his room all by himself. No help from his brother.
