Well, that didn’t work either! So, the feet are frogged (sob – 6 inches of stockinette gone in 10 seconds!)
So, we are starting over. I’m going to do something fun from my new “Sensational Knitted Socks” book and I’m going to enjoy it! Or else!

It’s been 6 days since I got stuck on J3’s socks. I can not find anything to help me understand what I’m doing wrong – so I’m giving up! I’m going to use Knitty’s “Universal Toe-up Sock Pattern” with a short row heel and be done with it! I just want to get it done now and if he’s got big roomy heels – who cares?!?! (well, I do – but as I already said – I’m giving up)
Pattern:Â Laura’s Fluted Bannister Socks
Yarn:Â Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Socks, Watercolor
Needles: Addi Turbos, Size 2 (2.76 mm)
Thoughts: Love the yarn, the pattern was great and mindless. I’ll wear them (well, not in THIS heat) but I’m not a fan of the pooling. Did Magic Loop – but cuff-down this time. Still prefer toe-up!

Diamante Socks, started February 17th, 2007, finished May 11th, 2007
Pattern: Diamante @ Knitty.com
Yarn: Tofutsie’s
Needles: Addi Lace Circulars – size 2
Pattern Notes: Toe up with Magic Cast-on, loved this construction – esp the heel
Would I knit it again? Yes, without the pattern though – I’m sold on the construction!
Here’s some photos of what I’m working on right now…
Here is the Trekking XXL yarn I’m using for my socks – isn’t it pretty?

And, here are the toes 🙂 Ok – so it’s not much to look at – but it’s a start!

The start of my Big Shrug

And, I’m doing some beaded bracelets
