Well, as you read this – we are camping! Trying out our tent camper. Hoping it works for us – just excited to be off the ground! lol

While camping, I’ll be knitting of course – but also J3 has expressed interest in knitting and seems to be determined. At least he’s determined that I not forget HIS needles and yarn! I cast on a blanket for his “Baby-uh” a boy doll he’s had for a long time. I decided to just concentrate on the ‘flow’ of knitting so I’m putting my hands over his and we are knitting it English – very new experience for me.

Well, I’d better go….just waiting for Dh to get out of the shower so we can go! I’ll post pics when we get home. TTYL!

J2’s Hat, started April 16th, 2007, finished April 18th, 2007
Pattern: Just Your Basic Beanie
Yarn: Woolease
Needles: Addi Turbos, size 7
Pattern Notes: J2 chose the colors and the pattern. Once I talked him out of red and green (too Christmasy for me). 😉
Would I knit it again? Definitely. This is the pattern I use for all the charity hats I do. And, I’ve done them for my DH and all the boys. This is J2’s replacement hat! :/ Grr We’ll find it eventually I imagine. Finished just in time to take camping – he’s thrilled it covers all his hair and his ears. lol
