So, I destashed a bit – I emptied one whole Rubbermaid bin and organized my yarn! Check it out:

But the truly scary thing are all the projects which are NOT finished – UFOs (unfinished objects).  Here’s a little run down of those projects:

Some of these projects – like the Alpaca Cowl, I’m pretty sure I will tear out.  And, a few I don’t have a CLUE what I was knitting.  But most of these simply need some attention to get them done.

I need a plan!

Please note I’m not going to use the Project 365 post title anymore…but I’m continuing with the Project 365 :).  Here is todays! 🙂

I’m participating in a dishcloth swap via Ravelry – today’s dishcloths came from Australia! 🙂

Project 365 – day 13, 352 to go!

I really enjoyed my involvement with Emily‘s Dish Rag Tag!  My team – Five Alarm Fire – came in second while Ruth‘s team – Doggone Dishrag Addicts – came in first.

Today my prize arrived!  How special!!

A little girl who’s dress is a knitting pattern (can you see it?) which Sissy “weally, weally wants!” but I hope to put in my shadow box!

Emily also included some candies – what a nice treat!!

Can’t wait to play again next time!! :)  Thanks Emily for such a great experience!

Today – five of us from our local knitting group went to Sacramento for a Yarn Crawl.  We hit three shops and had lunch.  Here are the pictures from our day! 🙂

Our first stop was Fig Tree Alley on J Street in Midtown Sacramento.

Cindy (with her back to me), Ruth, Margaret & Lori

The Shop

And my purchases! 😉

Our second stop was Babetta’s Yarns

My purchases 😉

Enjoying the cool breeze after our shopping!

Then we had a very nice lunch at Mimi’s Cafe – Yum!

Afterward we hit my favorite store – Shelby’s Yarns – unfortunately, I was a bit tired and forgot to take pictures! :(  BUT I was still able to make some purchases! 😉

I see some Christmas knitting in my future!
