A good pot of tea!

Since we moved into this house, I was having such bad luck with tea that I was pouring whole pots down the drain!  But today – 6 mos after moving here, I finally have a nice result!

3 mins seems to be the trick!

Mmmmm…I might even be back to having a daily pot!

If you don’t see me in real life – this will mean nothing to you!  But I took the plunge and got a good 4-5 inches cut off my hair today! I love it!

hairfrontIt’s hard to take a picture of yourself in the mirror!  No make-up – SCARY!

hairbackTook this one over my shoulder – yes, that’s my own hair on the right!  I told you it was hard to do!

I just heard that my PW friend’s son was playing the “Choking Game”.  While I’m glad for their sake that his death wasn’t intentional, I’m sadden to think this “game” took another victim!! 🙁

The Choking game can also be referred to as the Pass Out Game, Fainting Game, Black out.   Here is a website to help raise awareness and give parents information on this activity: http://www.chokinggame.net/ Included are warning signs and a huge list of common names for this activity. I just noticed there are teaching tools on the site too!

Please – educate yourselves and your children.  Tell them the high is no where near the pain that this can cause!!

LOST IS BACK!!!! And, it’s good!  I don’t want to blow it for anyone else who hasn’t gotten to see it yet…but here are some of my favorite lines/scenes and a few quesitons:

  • “Bloop!”
  • “Maybe you should eat more comfort foods, and you wouldn’t have to shoot people.”
  • Trying to figure out WHEN everything was happening.
  • Who were the guys who grabbed Juliet & Sawyer?
  • Who is Faraday’s mother?
  • Who is trying to figure out if Kate is Aaron’s mother?
  • Loved the scene between Kate & Sun in the hotel.  I cried!

Ok….kids want to finish watching it (2nd time for me) so I’d better stop!
