Two nights ago J3 was crying in his room, for no apparent reason. His daddy went in to talk to him and 10 mins later they came out and I was greeted with “Guess what? I a Cistian!” (Translation – Guess what? I’m a Christian!)
It has never been my desire to have my boys come to Christ early in life – for fear they will not understand what they are doing. However, each of them has made an age-appropriate profession of faith in spite of me. 😉 We will just have to work harder to make sure they grasp the concepts are they are old enough to understand them!
So, now all my boys have made a statement of faith – praise the Lord!

Oh, that is just awesome news!!! How old is he? Both my boys accepted Christ when they were 5, which is how old I was.

Amy – that is always my concern too. sometimes it seems I try to almost talk them out of it for fear of them doing it just because they hear the word so much.
But if it in their hearts, God put it there.

How wonderful! What joy! I understand your concern re: early age, etc. BUT, regardless of whether they are 6 or 16, their faith must continue to grow.
