Tonight was our church’s 36th annual Harvest Home Dinner. DH was the main entertainment – he was Gov. William Bradford and shared about the early days and the first celebrations of the Harvest in America. And, he did a very good job!
Since this is some of the same era as what we are studying for Social Studies this year with J2, I whispered to him “This guy came a few years after…” at which point he interrupted me to say “Mom, that’s Dad!” LOL I did my best not to laugh out loud!
J2’s comment cracked me up! My son is so literal like that too! :o) Sounds like you had a nice dinner. I’m glad to hear your brother got to go home and is doing much better, praise God! I imagine it is going to be a long road of recovery ahead. Happy Thanksgiving!
