Here is why I hate sending some of my kids to a school environment!  My youngest is sick with this stuff – blisters in his throat and a fever.  Poor thing is in such pain.  And, I fear sending him back will only expose him again!

Not to mention that his brothers (and us?) are probably going to get it.  (sigh)  Prayers are definitely appreciated.  Patience for me…protection for those of us who are not sick (yet)…and healing!

You all better get out there and buy some stock in Lysol and liquid soap — we are going to be using lots of it!

  1. Ohhh, Amy. 🙁 Your poor little guy. You will all definitely be in my prayers and I will certainly give up complaining about mere runny noses. Ew! At least the weather is clear…it’s gorgeous outside.

  2. Oh Amy, we just delt with this a few weeks ago with Sara. She had a horrible tie getting over it so I’ll be praying.

Poor little guy. You and Eric shouldn’t get it and your older boys probably have been exposed before too. If I remember correctly you don’t usually get it again, though I could be wrong…how’s that for assurance! LOL Sorry…been out of the office for too many years but I’m pretty sure that adults don’t usually get that because they had as kids.

Amy, how fun that you are taking a lace class! I hope everyone is okay so you can go! :o) There are not really any “instructional” books I have found on lace. If I only had one lace book I would have the new Victorian Lace Today. It’s about $20 at Amazon. It is so beautiful. I also have A Gathering of Lace and Myrna Stahman’s Shawls and Scarves book. It is awesome, the authority actually on Faroese shawls (shaped on the shoulder). There are tons of free lace patterns I have used too with anything from socks to shawls…so let me know if you are looking for anything in particular and I can send you links or files from the free ones! (thanks for stopping by my blog!)
