So, I destashed a bit – I emptied one whole Rubbermaid bin and organized my yarn! Check it out:

But the truly scary thing are all the projects which are NOT finished – UFOs (unfinished objects).  Here’s a little run down of those projects:

Some of these projects – like the Alpaca Cowl, I’m pretty sure I will tear out.  And, a few I don’t have a CLUE what I was knitting.  But most of these simply need some attention to get them done.

I need a plan!

9 Thoughts on “Do I need an intervention?

  1. wow… now I know why I don’t have a hobby! I don’t have the room for all those totes full of pieces 🙂 I remember when I was quilting I had a sterilite “dresser” -3 drawers high, 2 large drawers and then the top row was divided into 2 smaller drawers. It was always full and the batting rolls sat on top 🙂 It’s in the corner of my basement right now, often sitting in water puddles. Definitely not a good spot for fabric, scissors and other accessories!

  2. Looks good! 🙂 … Where do you keep the bins when not in use?

    • The Christmas tub is out in the game room. The Current projects basket is in the living room. The other containers are in my room… two of the boxes are in a shelving until – then white shelving is by my bed and the black box containing the cotton is at the foot of my bed. I’ve considered some of those bags which you can suck the air out of them for yarn storage, but haven’t convinced myself it’s worth it.

  3. If YOU need an intervention…what do I need? LOL…

    • No, no intervention for you. You are my saving grace! If ever my hubby should look around and say, “Good God Woman – you have too much yarn!” I can distract him by saying, “Well, you should see Ruth’s stash!” LOL 😉

  4. Grin. Glad to be of help!

  5. honey, is there a partly processed raglan-sleeved cardigan in there somewhere? Just wonderin’ 🙂

  6. oh YEA!!!! Where’s the LIKE button???
