J1’s surgery on Thursday has made sure that this boy who is always on the go has to stay in one place. Fortunately, he has not been complaining. All he needed was a pen and lots of paper. He’s been creating page after page of comics – about 20 boxes on a page. Now, he’s writing his biography to accompany his comics.
He said to me “When I was in school, I could never think of anything to write. Â Now I can’t stop the ideas.”
Wow.
A good reminder to me not to schedule his life so much that his creativity is squelched. I guess sometimes the mind needs a break too.
Well, that is definitely a good reminder. Stanley’s the same.

When Jared had his surgery (when he was 6) he had to be lying down for something like a week… MAN, was he BORED. *rofl* That was the hard part… Keeping him on the couch, when he wanted to be playing with his brother and sisters. *lol*
