Also known as “we are babysitting”! But since it’s so fun – it feels more like company! 🙂
My friend (and part of my Knitting Group), Trina, is allowing us to watch her children this morning! So far, we’ve danced to Veggie Tales, let the boys practice holding a baby, played trucks and trains, Eric tickled 2 yr old A, and put baby to sleep! J1 grudgingly allowed me to lay Miss E down with him – I think he was scared – and they sure make a nice picture!
And, A played with J3’s trains…well, this time he abandoned the track and was taking the scenic route through the kitchen.
Trina really knows how to spoil her babysitters too! Not only did she make homemade mac & cheese (J2 was estatic!) for lunch but she bought the boys a 5 pack of mac & cheese and a bag of tangerines for me!!! 🙂
Sadly, after lunch, our little friends had to go home to nap. And, now the rain has started. I guess this is supposed to be quite a series of storms. My sister and her family are probably going to get lots of snow! Hope they will still be able to come down for J1’s big party on Saturday – but only if it’s safe!

Sounds like fun! :o) The baby is just beautiful, and the little boy with the train is adorable, too!
I think by late Saturday snow level is supposed to be 1000 feet, so she may get dumped on. We had power off for one hour and our neighbor’s carport collapsed…8 feet from ours, but so far the 36 yo roof has held and we have no leaks, which we sometimes get with smaller storms. The wind was so fierce, but it didn’t bother me, it was like home. The picture of the baby and J1 is so sweet. I’m exhausted and have a hard time keeping up with the three I have, but sometimes I ACHE to have just one more! :o) How precious.
