Today we had a visit with the Puppies!  Neelix went home last weekend, but we are waiting another week or so to bring home Tuvok & Janeway.

J2 and Tuvok – his birthday is tomorrow, so we finally told him Tuvok was his gift! :)  Sure made this visit a bit more special for him!

Here is J2 and Tuvok playing:

sorry it’s such bad quality – it was shot with my phone. And, sorry for my laugh, but it was funny! lol

I struggle with a simple but nice dinner on those nights when we have to be somewhere – like tonight!  But I might have come up with a winner – at least I’m looking forward to it:

Hormel Carved Chicken Breast (from lunch meat section of grocery)

Fettucini Noodles

Bertolli Alfredo Sauce

Peas

I heated sauce with chicken added (next time I might buy shrimp) and peas.  Pour over noodles!  Couldn’t be faster – can’t wait to taste it!

Do you have a simple – yet tasty – dinner for those busy nights?  Please share with me!

here are some photos from our week…

My friend Trina and I got our hair cut on Wednesday morning.  My mom came over to babysit!  And, this was what we found upon our return.  I guess JGirl was pretty jealous about sharing her Grammy but finally Grammy made everyone so happy that they fell asleep! Adorable!

This week we went to the homeschool park day – after a quick trip to the library.  We were the only ones there for awhile – so J3 found a shady spot to look at his pirate book.

It was HOT!

After other kids arrived, I forced my boys to go over and say hi.  This was the result but it’s hard to see.  All the other kids are over to the left (mostly out of the picture) and my boys are sitting on a bench with arms folded. lol  They finally did warm up to the group and I think they want to go back next week.

Afterward, we went to visit the puppys.  J2 was able to feed them…isn’t it cute?  Only about two weeks until they can come home.  Until then we are trying to visit a couple times a week.  Short visits because they are so young.  JGirl doesn’t really know what to think of them.
