…to put J3 back into the Christian school where Hubs teaches.  I’m sad about it, but he has become the chicken that all the bigger chickens peck and peck. We are blessed with an option for him which, for him, is a wonderful, positive place.

But I’m still sad.  He is often the bright spot of my day and now I’ll have less time with him.  I have at least one more week before he goes back to school* and I plan to make the best of it! (*returning him at the end of the first quarter)

:(  Sometimes it’s hard to do something even though you think it is the best thing.

Last night we invited Eric’s folks over for a fire in the back yard.  It was really nice.  Here are a few pictures – very few – I was busy making hot cocoa and tea.

And, here is Sissy showing off her newest skills:

I started the day so optomistic:

Today’s plan: very little! Woohoo! Making Chili, knitting and watching DVDs, and that’s it! Yeah Me!!!

But then it started to fall apart…and then it was a day that just would not end!  Ugh!  But at least it’s done.  She is in bed and I’m going as soon as I can.

Days like this I feel that I’m just too old for motherhood!

Praying tomorrow is more peaceful and I can finish the gifts I was hoping to complete today!

First thing this morning, J1 intercepted her pulling the chair into the kitchen chanting “cookie…cookie…”.

After naptime I was met by a completely naked baby who had peed all over EVERYTHING in her crib.

After lunch, she got into the refrigerator and threw two eggs on the floor.

A bit ago, I heard the cookie jar lid and found her back on the dining room chair, in the kitchen, literally with her hand in the cookie.   I got her down, put the chair back and told her she had to ask for a cookie.

So, just now, I hear soft crying.  She has dragged the chair back into the kitchen and is standing in front of  the cookie jar and crying.  Why can’t she just ask for a cookie??

Oh MY GOODNESS!!!  I can’t make this stuff up!!! While I took a call from my Hubs just now, she poured her water all over the living room carpet.  What is going on?!?  And, how am I going to survive until bedtime in 6 hrs and 20 mins?!?!?!

UGH!!!
