This morning J2’s cockatiel “Beaker” passed away. Beaker was one of two birds we got from Aunt Christy in 2003 or 4 and raised from chicks. Flapper, his sibling, did not get along with Beaker so we sent him to Paradise (the town!) to live with some family friends.
There are lots of tears this morning. Doubt we’ll do school. Mummifying a chicken seems really innappropriate today.

I caught this moment between J3 and JGirl. We’ve been talking about Noah’s ark for school and he was helping her learn the story. It was so cute – she’d growl at the bears! LOL
To a few of my local friends….JGirl will be a princess on Halloween. You all will just have to deal with it! 😉
We’ve been restricting JGirl’s pacifier usage…which sometimes requires that we hide them. Tonight, she found the 2nd one.
“If one is good, two is better”
(I just stopped her from sharing her 2nd one with the puppies! lol)
