This morning J2’s cockatiel “Beaker” passed away. Beaker was one of two birds we got from Aunt Christy in 2003 or 4 and raised from chicks. Flapper, his sibling, did not get along with Beaker so we sent him to Paradise (the town!) to live with some family friends.
There are lots of tears this morning. Doubt we’ll do school. Mummifying a chicken seems really innappropriate today.

Oh, it’s so hard to handle losing a pet. Probably NOT the best time to mummify the chicken. ((hugs))
