Two nights ago J3 was crying in his room, for no apparent reason. His daddy went in to talk to him and 10 mins later they came out and I was greeted with “Guess what? I a Cistian!” (Translation – Guess what? I’m a Christian!)

It has never been my desire to have my boys come to Christ early in life – for fear they will not understand what they are doing. However, each of them has made an age-appropriate profession of faith in spite of me. 😉 We will just have to work harder to make sure they grasp the concepts are they are old enough to understand them!

So, now all my boys have made a statement of faith – praise the Lord!

I think I’ve shared on here before about J1 being a real Drama King! Well, the other night he was asked – and then told! – to go clean his room. As he ran down the hall – not happily – to his room he was heard to wail, “Why has hell descended upon me?”

Where do they come up with this stuff! We, of course, being the cruel parental units we are – laughed and laughed!

Well, nothing really. I’ve been an open book for several years online and nothing negative has ever happened to me. But as J1 is getting older we are giving him time online – and we have tons of guidelines to protect him. But, then I realized how open I’ve been on the website – free to share names, locations, etc. and I’d never let him do those things. Does that make sense? It’s too hot for a better explanation than that! 😉

You might notice some changes recently – and more are coming. I’ve taken all the boys names down and replaced with them code – J1,J2,J3 – I feel safer this way. I’ve left Joshie’s name up because – well, he’s already in the safest place.

I’ll also being making changes to my homeschool blog and the rest of our site soon. I’ll either be password protecting our gallery or taking it down completely. I haven’t decided yet.

One page I’m looking forward to making more up-to-date and efficient is our page for kids links- I’m going to be working with J1 to put links for pages he actually uses online – so that he has a place to visit where all his links are places he can go to!

Well I’d better get back to what I’m really supposed to be doing! LOL

I’m headed out Friday night – my mom and I are heading up to Redding (yes, the land of 112-118 degrees ) to spend the weekend with my Brother, his wife and my niece. My SIL is having a book party on Saturday but sadly I don’t have much money. Probably a good thing!

I’m knitting again! I realized that my projects are a bit to big and frustrating. So, I’m working on some washclothes and a tie for DH (actually a big project but mostly one stitch over and over and over….)

The only other thing going on is that we are taking the kids to Marine World for my birthday next Tuesday. Looking forward to the new Ocean Discovery part of the park.

Well, that’s really it – not much else coming up. Except continuing to plan for school starting Mid August! Until next time…
