How busy you ask? So busy that it is Sunday night and I still haven’t watched Doctor Who! Scandalous, I know!
Seriously, it was a good but full weekend. Some highlights included:
- Eric and J3 got to see Iron Man 3
- I was able to completely scour the tub (yeah I lead an exciting life) but it was so clean and sparkly I realized I have never enjoyed a bath in this house! Wha?! Almost 5 years and I never even considered it…and then I remembered it was the only bath and as we have lots of kid, I realized how late I would have to stay up to achieve an uninterrupted bath and I decided long soaks are overrated. Lol
- shot a fun video of my hubby being silly.
- I was able to knit about 10 rows on my sweater when my MIl dropped by for a chat
- we went to church on Sunday morning instead of Saturday night. It was great to see some Sunday folks, but the crowd is too big for me. The sermon was right in line with some learning I have been doing on my own…love when that happens!
- but the high point of my weekend was taking our oldest out to lunch and then a drive up into gold country. Had some laughs, prayed for him over lunch and in my heart as he shared what was going on in his life. And I took some pictures of flowers that I really hope turn out! I will try to post them tomorrow.
- came home and prepared a meal that we ALL shared…it has been awhile since we all ate together and it was so nice!
Anyway, that is my weekend….Hope yours was just as good!
That’s right. J1 is all grown up new. How the heck does that happen? 😀
