First, prayers are going up for my brother – who’s in MN this week getting a bionic thumb! ok, not boinic, but I love the idea. This is (Lord willing) his last surgery after his horrible accident in 2005 which you can read about here, here, here, here and here. Ugh-just re-reading those posts are scary! Now they are trying to give him some mobility in his thumb again. But re-reading those posts….we were so worried about him losing his whole hand! God is good!
Second, I’m living in a house of plague. 3 of 4 kids are sick….one way or another. Am I upset? No. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want my kids sick and I’m tired of cleaning it up. But all I can think is “Thank you Lord that I don’t have a production team and endless strangers arriving tomorrow!!!“ Praising the Lord for lost paperwork!!
