We were able to sleep in….that right there made this day sooooo nice! We cleaned the house and ran a few errands and then we headed outside and enjoyed the sunshine! Here is J1 on the trampoline:
Eric and I did a bit of weeding and I mowed the front lawn and Eric mowed the back lawn. Eric also put together this table and benches which I hope we can enjoy this Spring and Summer for homeschool lessons as well as eating and entertaining!
Right now I need to figure out how to finish it…stain or paint? And, what else do I need to know so that it will last?! ARgh!!
I called my BIL and asked him to come help me in a couple of weeks. We are going to loose a big walnut tree in the back yard and I hope we will have enough sun to have a bit of garden…but where? And what do I need to the ground here to get it to grow? I know I overthink these things…and that is why I don’t enjoy it. But I hate to go to all the trouble and have nothing to show for it. Anyway, I hope he’ll come and help me figure out a plan for my yard.

Lastly, here was a little treat I noticed today hidden in the overgrown lavender in the backyard….a bit of Spring color…hope you can see it!
Your boys are cuties. I’m jealous of your lavendar plant. I love lavendar (so does my cat).
