In my journey through grief I’ve learned the value of staying positive. I know positive thinking has become a negative idea in some groups. But dwelling on the positive can help me change my perspective. It’s like my Momma said “Fake it until you make it!” or like my God said “Fix your thoughts on what is true and honorable and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” (Phil 4:8b)
So, in order to get out of the muck and mire…I am working on a list. I might share it here later, but to be honest, right now I’m struggling to think of anything beyond – “we are all well”. Sometimes it’s really hard to see the silver lining in the middle of the storm.

Hang in there sweetie! You are loved! We are continuing to pray for you and your family.
I have a few for your list….
I (you) have fruit trees in the back yard.
I have a husband that cooks for me one night a week.
I know my God loves me – especially on the bad days.
I have the most awesome siblings in the whole wide world!!! hehehehe
These are just some of the things in your life that I know bring a smile to your face – besides your wonderful chillins & hubby!
