When you have boys…boys who are learning to read and reading out loud to you…you can really lose your whole house to the giggles when they read “My, but it is dirty“…and don’t remember to pause at the comma.
And, in case you don’t see the humor of “My butt it is dirty” then you don’t have any young boys around!
Lord give me strength!
LoL
Oh dear…they just told me the next part is
“Yes, it is”, said Grandfather. “It has not been used for a long, long time. You can do something about that, can’t you?”
LOL

Giggles are a blessing! 🙂
Oh my word – that is SO funny! I laughed for several minutes straight.
LOL You gotta love boys!
What can I say? Sounds like a boy house to me! At least you have Princess to help you look forward to a less testosterone filled future.
I haven’t even told my boys, and I’m headed off to shower, laughing like an idget.
Oh dear! *rofl*
Ahhh, that made me laugh out loud, too! Thanks for that one!
Positive thinking is always a good thing in my book…speaking of books, I just re-read The Secret Garden for the first time since I was nine. I didn’t remember it being quite a bit about positive thinking, but it is. It’s a nice book to read when spring is coming…especially since you have those fruit trees. 🙂
ROFLOL – I bet that was one funny reading lesson.
Hey, what reader book is that from? My siblings and I used that as kids and were just trying to find that book.
Thanks
