Yesterday was very hard in many ways.  We didn’t get to attend church due to sickness.  But being home allowed us to learn that a problem we have been addressing is actually getting worse than better.  It’s hard but we are confident we have some good resources in place to help our family.   However, right after the moment, we were pretty depressed.  In fact, I reached out to a good friend but just blubbered on the phone…poor friend! ;-)  But again, yeah for friends who will listen.

My mom came over for dinner and she was VERY encouraging and helpful.  It was nice to get a chance to share our worries and have someone who’s involved but yet experienced enough to recognize that ‘this too shall pass’.  After dinner we moved to our patio for our first marshmallow roast of the season.  The fire was pretty big but it was so nice!  Here are some pictures:

  1. What great pics. Sorry you are dealing with a worsening problem, but at least you know it exists and can work to make it better. I think we would roast marshmallows every night if we had that cool set-up!

  2. Sure glad you were able to get the blog fixed… And I hope you can get the other problem worked out as well.

Love the pictures, and I love your fire pit thing! That’s awesome!
