Oh, I’m so grumpy this morning! I’ve yelled at just about everyone in the house – no one is listening to me anyway. Everywhere I look there is a mess and I don’t want to clean it! I give them chores- do they do them? No I offer them incentives – no deal. So, I guess now I’m threatening to take away priviledges – which makes for such a happy house! Maybe I just need to go back to bed and start over!

Oh, I hear you!!!!… I’m giving the boys until Saturday to get their room cleaned to MY standard, or half (or more) of their things will get packed up and put in the attic for a LONG while… Am so tired of their room looking like a national disaster. *sighs*
It’s their job to try and wear you down. Someone once told me that if childrend didn’t rebel or push back, they would never learn to stand up for what they believe in. Hopefully, that will be all the good stuff you’re teaching them. I guess it’s our job to set realistic limitations and HOLD them to them. Not easy. Give yourself a hug from me.
