Hey Fellow Homeschoolers – I’d love to hear what games (card, dice, domino, board, etc) you use to help with math! We need some fresh ideas!
I’m asking some other areas too – so if I get any good ones that don’t end up in my comments, I’ll post them here later!

How about Yahtzee…could use multiplication and addition. How about making cookies and figuring out the recipe (fractions)? Hmmm…you could have them design a sweater and figure out gauge (algebra)! LOL

last semester in my “teaching math in elementary school” class, we did a whole big unit on math games–i have a big list of good games to use, for about k-8. if you’re intersted, I can dig it out and email it to you, just let me know the email to use! 🙂
