…or, “Why I don’t bake all that often”.
This year we (and by “we” I mean “me”) are doing more baking for Christmas. It’s quite a list of people we’d like to bless this way. So I’m going to try to do a little bit each weekend. And, here are somethings I learned..
- My food chopper is broken. (wonder when that happened and why no one told me??)
- My mini food-processor processed an army man and is out of commission. (boys!)
- I could use an orange or lemon zester – my grater just doesn’t seem to do the job.
- My son can’t put on a band aid for NOTHING! Learned this one after trying to zest an orange on my grater.
- 4 mini loaves = 1 regular loaf of bread
- My mixer is not really up to the task of mixing more than one loaf of bread at a time.
- If you don’t have enough liquid in the mixing bowl, the flour ‘poofs’ out at you.
- Pretty sure I shouldn’t have used orange juice concentrate – I read the recipe wrong. It will either be really good or I’ll be forcing it on the family!
- The list of appliances I now want: A bigger mixer, a food processor and a zester. So much for saving money! 😉
I have been “poofed” by flour many a times! *rofl*
